Episode 109:The Irish in South London
In celebration of St. Patrick's day we sat down with our pals Stephen and Isobel to talk about the experience of being Irish in South London.
We discussed the different experiences Irish immigrants face in the 20th and 21st Centuries,
growing up in an Irish family having been born in London and the various places that have served and entertained the Irish in South London over the years including Catholic Social Clubs, The Irish Festival in Peckham Rye and the South London Irish Association Centre in Wimbledon.
