Pick of the Week






This Thursday sees the opening of 'Fantasista' a group show of football related art at The Cello Factory in Waterloo.
Organised in conjunction with Bearspace of Deptford, the show runs until Sunday and admission is free.

Last weekend saw the start of this year's Summer Reading Challenge, a scheme organised to encourage kids to keep reading over the Summer Holidays.
Many libraries in South London are participating and West Norwood Library have information on their involvement here.





Last week saw the opening of the latest production at The Menier Chocolate Factory in Southwark, a musical version of Alice Walker's 'The Color Purple'.
Early reviews are promising and more information on performances and ticket prices can be found here





The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is currently hosting 'Visions of the Universe', an exhibition that is displaying images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, the Mars Curiosity Rover and the European Southern Observatory.
The show is running until September and has a number of talks and events to complement it.
