The Man Who Sold The World (1970)

After the folk rock of 'Space Oddity' Bowie wrong-footed people with his next album, which was essentially a proto-metal affair and a showcase for the lineup that was evolving into what would become the Spiders From Mars. New guitarist Mick Ronson in particular was given a lot of freedom on the album and in the live shows that followed.
'The Width of a Circle' is eight minutes long on the album but this live version is fourteen and a half minutes long, allowing Ronson a guitar solo that's longer than the song on the album!
