Lodger (1979)

Recorded in Switzerland and New York, 'Lodger' is probably the album in the 'Berlin Trilogy' with the least claim to a place and 'Red Sails'  probably owed more to the influence of Dusseldorf's own Neu!
Eno and Visconti were still on board but the overall feeling is that the energy was fading and everyone had one eye on their next project.
In the case of Eno this would be 'My Life In The Bush of Ghosts' with David Byrne and the elements of World Music on 'Lodger' foreshadow that a great deal.
