Diamond Dogs (1974)

'Diamond Dogs' saw the apocalypse that Bowie had spent two albums envisioning come to pass, but rather than the world coming to an end it was instead Bowie himself drawing a line under the persona of Ziggy Stardust and the glam scene that he had helped create.
It was a scorched earth approach that lead to a complete reinvention for the next album, but he let Ziggy have one last run out on 'Rebel Rebel'.
