Transpontine Zinesters: The South West London Zine Collective

This week we went to the South East London Zine Fest.
Among the people we spoke to was Fliss from the South West London and Surrey Zine Collective who produces and distributes zines on a wide variety of subjects.

The All Thrills No Frills Music Bill is a music based zine that features reviews, articles on
Record Store Day
and an interview with Robyn Hitchcock.
The bands featured include Allo Darlin', Go Kart Mozart, Denim, Felt, Brix Smith, Bow Wow Wow, Belly and Paul Haig.

Athemaura is a celebration of personal interests and passions with a particular focus on the current plight of libraries facing closure or being refocused from what they do best.
Cooking, Roller Derby and the joy of green spaces are among the other topics that turn up across the issues so far...

Gardener's Delight is, as you'd expect, all about gardening and is aimed at those in urban areas with restricted access to land.
There are features on starting on an allotment and using spaces such as window sills, patios and door steps...
