Suffice to note that I have written and published a book on and about Enid Blyton, titled, The Famous Five: A Personal Anecdotage (www.thefamousfiveapersonalanecdotage.blogspot.com). Stephen Isabirye
i'v enjoyed listening to the Enid Blyton podcast. I was going to boycot it seeing as i grow up with Enid and Jack didn't even interview me.Your right jack my favourite book is The Secret Island. Enid's books bought a lot of adventure to kids of the 60s who only had bombsites to play on, we would pretend we were the secert seven it was great fun.Anyway my original comment didn't post which i wrote as i was listening, i dont think you did your homework boys Enid received the young writer of the year when she was only 14.I wrote something about lashings and lashings of ginger beer, i cant remember why. Keep writing boys, jacks mum.
I've just bought the Personal Anecdotage on the strength of the above review.Looking forward to reading it.I love Enid Blyton.Aabher Nagesh
